Munbyn RealWriter RW402B review
If you love crafting and run your own craft business, you’ll love the Munbyn RW402B

I’ve been using and working with IT hardware for over 25 years now and there is one piece of office equipment that has always caused me issues – printers! Whether it’s random connection issues and documents getting sent into the ether or paper jams and clogged printer heads, there has always been a hiccup that has meant a task has taken longer than it should have.
Now don’t get me wrong, I love using my trusty little HP Deskjet printer, but I’ve had the odd connection issue with it in the past (it did not like moving house and getting connected to a new network!) and although I find it great for certain crafty tasks such as printing on fabric, it’s not the most speedy or practical for business jobs such as label printing.
When it comes to running your own craft business, making sure you’re doing things as efficiently as possible is the best way to set yourself up for success.
Efficiency doesn’t have to just come from how you set up your schedule, it can be helped along massively by the kind of tech you invest in for your business too!
Thermal label printers have been used by big businesses for years to streamline their logistics and delivery processes. In the past thermal printers were an expensive bit of kit to invest in, but that’s all changed in recent years and small businesses have now got much easier access to the same types of tools and technology as bigger companies.
Munbyn have recently launched a new model of thermal label printer to add to their already impressive and popular line-up, the Munbyn RealWriter RW402B, and were kind enough to send me one to review.
Designed to be the most user-friendly companion for non-tech savvy business owners, simplifying the shipping and custom labelling process.

Munbyn RW402B Review
The RealWriter RW402B is a proper smart bit of kit, the set-up was really easy and I was printing a test label within 10 minutes of opening the box.
At the moment my work doesn’t require me to print out lots of shipping labels but when I have had to in the past I used to rely on my regular office printer. It caused me no end of trouble trying to get things to format properly and I’d end up wasting a lot of sheets of label paper if the whole side wasn’t filled. Having a thermal label printer like the RW402B would have been an absolute game-changer back then!
It makes it so quick to print off labels without worrying about wasting paper or ink and it’s easy to send your labels from platforms like Etsy, Shopify and WooCommerce straight to it.
I also love that you’ve got the flexibility to print on labels in a range of sizes and finishes. This makes it great for adding product care and ingredient stickers to items or even adding a cute thank you label to your packaging.
